Nottingham family business Cabin Master and Arctic Cabins is celebrating ten years since opening its show site by giving one household £10,000 towards a new garden room or Scandinavian-inspired BBQ cabin.

Since launching the Nottingham show site in 2016, the garden room specialist has helped thousands of homeowners transform unused outdoor space into offices, gyms, studios, bars, entertainment rooms, annexes, Scandinavian-inspired BBQ cabins and relaxing garden retreats.

Backed by more than 20 years of industry expertise, the family business has grown from 30 to 72 employees since 2016, while expanding into several specialist timber-building brands, becoming employee-owned and earning a 5-star Trustpilot rating from more than 690 customer reviews.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Nottingham show site, Cabin Master and Arctic Cabins is giving one household the chance to receive £10,000 towards a bespoke garden room or BBQ Cabin.

Gareth Parkinson, Founder and MD at Cabin Master and Arctic Cabins, said:

“Reaching our tenth anniversary at the Nottingham show site is an incredibly proud moment for the whole Cabin Master and Arctic Cabins team.

“When Cabin Master began back in 2011, our ambition was to create high-quality, beautifully designed spaces that would allow people to make better use of their gardens.

“Over the past decade, we have seen those spaces become home offices, businesses, gyms, studios, bars, games rooms and places where families can spend more time together.

“We would not have reached this milestone without our brilliant team, loyal customers and everyone who has supported the business along the way. Giving one household the chance to receive £10,000 towards its dream space felt like the perfect way to celebrate and say thank you.”

Ten years of upgrading homes and gardens across the Midlands

Cabin Master’s growth has reflected a wider shift in how UK homeowners use their gardens.

Today, Brits increasingly want fully insulated, year-round buildings that can function as a genuine extension of the home. Cabin Master’s average garden room size increased from 16.3m² to 17.5m² over the past year, while demand has also grown for larger glazing, sliding doors and mixed-material exteriors.

The company has responded to these changes by expanding its product range at different price points. Recent launches include its Studio Range, featuring five set-size garden rooms starting from £12,500, purpose-built golf and driving simulator rooms, compact residential annexes and its new Glamping accommodation range.

Alex Page, Head Designer at Cabin Master, said:

“The ways people use their homes and gardens have changed enormously over the past decade.

“A garden room is no longer simply a summerhouse. It can be a professional workspace, a place to run a business, a home gym, a cinema, a golf simulator or even additional accommodation.

“Our latest range has been designed to respond to that shift. We want to offer more choice at different price points while maintaining the craftsmanship, quality and personal service Cabin Master has become known for.

“The Nottingham show site’s tenth anniversary gives us an opportunity to reflect on everything the team has achieved, but we are even more excited about what the next decade will bring.”
