NEW homes in St Asaph are selling fast, with the first residents due to move in this spring.

Castle Green Homes launched Maes Yr Haul off plan last summer in response to demand. Around 40 homes have now been reserved.

Sales and marketing director Caryl Russell said: “Because Maes Yr Haul is close to our headquarters and in our North Wales heartland, there’s strong brand recognition with people keen to own a Castle Green home. Work is progressing well and we’re looking forward to welcoming the first homeowners soon. Buyers have been making good use of our digital resources. We have a virtual show home for each property to help them make informed decisions about which house type and position within the development they want to live in. These assets have proven really useful for dozens of people who’ve had the confidence to purchase off plan and are now watching their new homes take shape.

“We also appreciate that for some, a real life experience is still important, which is why we’re building show homes. We’ll be decorating and furnishing them so that from late spring/ early summer potential purchasers will be able to view the properties and picture living here.”

Maes yr Haul offers a choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes, with the final few properties on the first phase now on sale. Current prices range from £183,995 for a two-bedroom Oakley up to £424,995 for a four-bedroom detached Wiltshire.

Highly energy efficient, the new homes in St Asaph offer a low maintenance solution to modern living.

“When it comes to saving energy and reducing household bills, a new build home is hard to beat. The HBF estimates the annual energy bill saving by switching from an older property to a new house could be more than £3,100. They also suggest that it could cost around £70,000 to bring a three-bedroom semi-detached home in line with a new build,” Caryl added.

“Instead of the hassle of sourcing quotes and managing trades to renovate an existing property, our customers can enjoy making their home their own using our award-winning digital new homes assistant, Willow.”

Along with new homes, Maes Yr Haul will include a central area of public open space with an equipped play area and footpaths, mature trees and ecological features to encourage the use of the space by wildlife.

The sales centre at the development is open daily from 10am to 5pm. For more information see https://www.castlegreenhomes.uk/our-developments/north-wales/maes-yr-haul.
