AN exclusive and desirable development boasting beautiful homes in the charming village of Lisvane, Beaufort Gardens is already proving ‘The Place To Be’.

Edenstone Homes has seen more than half of the luxurious homes in the first phase of its sought-after collection sold off plan.

Edenstone sales director Adele McCoy says interest in Beaufort Gardens has increased following the launch of its stunning four-bedroom detached Truro show home.

“The unveiling of a show home is always an exciting time for a development. Visitors who have previously seen the homes illustrated only on plan, finally have the opportunity to view the real thing, and take in for themselves the setting and design and, in this case, the superior specification offered in the new homes,” Adele explains.

“Beaufort Gardens is a select development in one of the most affluent and sought-after areas of Cardiff, so it’s important that the show home reflects that, while demonstrating how generously proportioned the homes are and providing an example of the superb quality homes we offer.

“We enlisted the expertise of Andrew Henry Interiors to style and dress the Truro show home, and he has created an incredible property that anyone would delight in living in.”

The Truro is a magnificent four-bedroom executive detached home with integral garage, priced from £774,995.

The kitchen, dining and family area extends the entire width of the rear of the property, with bifold doors, providing a sociable space with direct access out to the garden. There’s a separate spacious bay windowed lounge with a log burner at the front, with a utility room and cloakroom completing the ground floor accommodation.

Upstairs are four good-sized double bedrooms – the main has an en-suite and a walk-in dressing area, and bedroom two also has an en-suite, plus there’s a family bathroom.

Andrew Henry, owner and founder of Andrew Henry Interiors, says: “There is a lot of interest in these homes from local buyers, some of whom are upsizing and some downsizing, so we wanted to design a theme that was both classic and contemporary in its style.

“It’s aspirational, and something that is commensurate with the quality of the design and architecture; the contemporary kitchen, and the luxurious bathrooms – we wanted to create something really special.

“We were inspired by a sophisticated neutral palette because its timeless and has wide market appeal. We chose brass finishes in lighting and lamps and brass details in the furniture because they are luxurious against the darker wood furniture, and the mink and truffle accent colours.”

For the spacious main bedroom Andrew adopted a boutique hotel styling, taking advantage of the large bay window to the front elevation by creating a seating area and installing a large, king-size bed with statement upholstered headboard in matt velvet, framed in wenge wood, and an upholstered ottoman at its end.

And he adds: “Super lighting fixtures ensured it really has the wow factor.”

Bedroom two is dressed as a guest bedroom and, thinking of the potential family dynamic, Andrew chose a design for bedroom three that would appeal to a teenage sports fan: “We’ve opted for a hand-painted bespoke mural of the Millennium Stadium on the wall and accessorised with rugby paraphernalia – people are really passionate about rugby in Cardiff and we wanted to capture that.

“Bedroom four was also styled for a teenage girl with softer décor. And, while this is the smallest of the bedrooms, it is still big enough to have a white, contemporary four-poster double bed.”

Aware that many people are now required to work from home, Andrew used space on the galleried landing to design and install a dedicated home working area, fully optimising the space.

He adds: “Buying a home is the biggest, single investment many people will make, so it was important that they could visualise themselves living in this home and using all that it has to offer.”

Downstairs, Andrew and his team created a cosy family area to one end of the kitchen with corner sofa and TV and a beautiful yet functional dining area at the opposite end, with a sociable round table and velvet upholstered chairs. The bespoke made cocktail cabinet in the dining area really helps emphasise the social aspect of this home.

Beaufort Gardens features a collection of four-bedroom homes with current availability from £624,995.
