6th May, 2021 – Roderick Thomas Estate Agents’ Castle Cary branch has won The British Property Awards Gold Award for best estate agency customer service in the BA6 – BA10 area.  The agency has now been shortlisted for a number of national awards which will be announced later in the year.

The British Property Awards are independently judged by a panel of industry experts, personally mystery-shopping every estate agent against a set of 25 criteria to obtain a balanced overview of their customer service levels. The judging criteria is both comprehensive and detailed, exploring different media, scenarios and time periods to ensure that agents have been rigorously and fairly judged.

Roderick Thomas commented, “We’re absolutely thrilled to win the prestigious 2021 British Property Awards Gold Award.  At Roderick Thomas Estate Agents we’ve always prided ourselves on our high standard of customer service and our exceptionally personal, dedicated approach. This award is recognition of the commitment of the whole team at Roderick Thomas to achieving the very best for each and every client.”

Mr John Whitchurch, a Castle Cary resident who recently sold his property through Roderick Thomas Estate Agents, asserted, “All the way through the process of marketing the house from initial contact with Harry, through frequent engagement with Bridget and Lizzie, and finally concluding with successful completion, the Roderick Thomas team have been the epitome of professionalism, friendliness, approachability and efficiency. We cannot speak highly enough of how well they conduct their business in such a friendly, helpful manner and we would have absolutely no hesitation in using their excellent services in the future. They were a joy to work with and I take this opportunity to pass on a heartfelt thanks to them for a job superbly done.”

Robert McLean from the British Property Awards said, “Our awards have been specifically designed to be attainable to all agents, removing common barrier to entry such as cost, to ensure we have the most inclusive awards. Our awards have also been designed to remove any opportunity for bias or manipulation. If an agent has been attributed with one of our awards it is simply down to the fantastic customer service levels they have demonstrated across a prolonged period of time. Winning agents should be proud that their customer service levels provide a benchmark for their local, regional and national competition.”
