Regional housebuilder Allison Homes South West is launching a key workers scheme at its four Devon developments helping those who work in the public sector to get a step onto or move up the property ladder.

The key workers scheme is available to members of the Blue Light Card or Defence Discount Service, including those in the NHS, Police, Fire Service, Social Care and Armed Forces, and offers a £500 contribution for every £25,000 spent on a new Allison home*. As an added extra, homebuyers will also receive free flooring throughout.

In Devon, those eligible for the scheme can enquire about Allison Homes’ four developments in the county – Weavers Place in North Tawton, High Moor View in Winkleigh, Foxglove View in Buckland Brewer and Primrose Meadows in Bradworthy, with the last three being no more than 15 miles from Torrington Hospital.

Weavers Place is perfectly located just over six miles away from Okehampton Community Hospital, and Primrose Meadows is just over seven miles away from Holsworthy Hospital.

High Moor View is situated just 10 miles from Okehampton Community Hospital and 19 miles from Barnstaple Army Reserve Centre.

Foxglove View is within six miles of Bideford Community Hospital, 17 miles of North Devon District Hospital and just under 16 miles of Barnstaple Army Reserve Centre.

Steve Fowler, Director in Charge at Allison Homes South West, said: “We are very proud to be offering this scheme to key workers in Devon, helping to ease the financial pressure of purchasing a brand new home.

“At Allison Homes, we strive to support those in the local community wherever we can, and are looking forward to helping those in the public sector. We would urge anyone who is interested to get in touch with our sales team to find out more.”

By reserving a new build Allison home, buyers will also benefit from an average saving of £135 a month on their energy bills, amounting to more than £1,600 a year, as announced in a report from the Home Builders Federation (HBF)1.
