DOZENS of people have already reserved new homes in St Asaph off-plan and the opening of show homes is predicted to generate further sales.

Properties at Maes yr Haul have so far been sold off-plan with the aid of virtual reality technology, which has enabled buyers to “explore” the development and “see” inside homes before they’re built.

Castle Green Homes, the homebuilder behind the development is anticipating further sales at the popular development when show homes open (from September 22).

Caryl Russell, sales and marketing director at Castle Green Homes said: “Buyers have embraced using our multi-award-winning digital platform, available via a state-of-the-art touchscreen experience centre at Maes yr Haul and via our website. The combination of 3D development maps, virtual show home tours of every house type furnished or unfurnished and being able to make their specification choices wherever and whenever they want, provides a truly immersive virtual experience.

“We also appreciate that for some people, being able to physically step inside a property and look around in real life remains an integral part of the buying journey. We’re pleased to announce that the wait is almost over and we’re opening four show homes at Maes yr Haul.”

Professionally styled and fully furnished, the show homes are examples of the three-bedroom Stratford and Cheltenham house types and four-bedroom Alderton and Wiltshire styles.  A three-bedroom Henley will house the sales centre.

Viewing the show homes and utilising the digital assets will help buyers appreciate the layout, quality and finish of the new build homes in St Asaph.

Castle Green has detailed planning for 113 homes across a 12 acre site, on Upper Denbigh Road. Subject to planning, the company will build a further 28 homes on a neighbouring parcel of land, which was formerly an ambulance centre.

Across the development Castle Green is building a good choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes to cater for local housing need. Current prices start from £189,995 for a two-bedroom Oakley style property.

Homes priced under £300,000 are eligible to be purchased using Help to Buy – Wales. The Government backed scheme offers the chance to secure a new home with a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage, with the remaining 20% covered by an equity loan, which is interest free for five years.

Maes yr Haul will include a central area of public open space with an equipped play area and footpaths, mature trees and ecological features to encourage the use of the space by wildlife.

Linked to the development, to support the growth of the neighbourhood, Castle Green will make a contribution of £128,000 to a local school; pay almost £42,000 towards improvements to existing affordable housing and fund almost £75,000 of improvements to existing public open space.

The new homes are being built next to St Kentigern’s Hospice and as a good neighbour, the homebuilder is gifting land to the hospice and providing financial support to the charity.

The show homes at Maes yr Haul will be open daily from Friday, September 22. For more information see https://www.castlegreenhomes.uk/our-developments/north-wales/maes-yr-haul.
