Housebuilder supports Wymeswold Garden Walkabout

A popular garden walkabout event in Wymeswold has benefitted from a £300 donation from local housebuilder Dandara, who has recently started building new homes at its nearby The Meadows development in Wymeswold, Loughborough.

The Wymeswold Garden Walkabout allows individuals to access stunning gardens, an art trail, artisan stalls and musical entertainment around the village. The event took place on the weekend of Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th June.

The money raised from the event will go to the Wymeswold Community First Responders.

Simon Dunstan, one of the Committee members, said that the event is hugely popular in the village, amassing around 600 visitors: “The event creates a great buzz and it’s a brilliant way to help provide much needed funds for local groups. Dandara is the single biggest contributor to the event this year and we are hugely grateful for the support they have shown – it will go a long way in supporting the community.”

Dandara is currently selling its new homes at The Meadows in Wymeswold, just a short walk from the garden walkabout, where a collection of three, four and five-bedroom homes are currently available. Prices start at £349,995 for a three bedroom semi-detached home with two parking spaces.

Buyers could also benefit from a number of incentives on offer, including savings of up to £19,000 and contributions towards Stamp Duty.
