FIRST time buyers are invited to a “house party” featuring a DJ, cocktails, pizza and prizes all “on the house” at Mill Green in Warton.

Anwyl Homes is putting the fun into finding your first home and celebrating the launch of homes suited to those stepping onto the housing ladder with a special event from 6pm to 9pm on Thursday, August 18.

There’ll be interior design masterclasses, music from DJ Luke Wilson, cocktail making, woodfired pizzas and games with prizes to be won, with property and finance experts on hand to chat to. Visitors will also be able to view show homes and take video tours of properties like those on sale.

Area sales manager Imogen Suffell explained: “Whether you’re fed up of spending a fortune on rent, are ready to move out of your parents’ place or simply want a home of your own, we’re here to help. We know buying your first home is a significant step but it’s one to be celebrated not stressed over and our house party is a chance to do just that.

“Over cocktails and woodfired pizzas you’ll be able to chat with experts and receive free independent financial advice from people who have access to the whole mortgage market and will be able to help you understand how much you’ll be able to borrow to secure your first home.”

She added: “Our homes advisors will be able to match you with your perfect property and guide you through the process of buying your first home. Plus, interior designers will be offering tips on achieving the show home look on a budget. It’ll also be a chance to meet other first time buyers, who could become your new neighbours.”

Located off Lytham Road, Mill Green in Warton, enjoys a semi-rural setting, with a blend of coast and country.

The Anwyl development offers a choice of three and four-bedroom homes, with prices competitive when compared with nearby Lytham, one of Lancashire’s most sought-after locations.

Externally the homes look traditional, while inside they are designed with modern living in mind and generally more energy efficient than their older equivalents.

“Saving the planet and saving money are high on the agenda for many first time buyers. Every new Anwyl home guarantees a minimum EPC rating of B, some even higher, making them some of the most energy efficient on the market,” Imogen added.

The Bretton and Ascot show homes at Mill Green are open Thursday to Monday, 10am to 5.30pm. For more information about these and other homes see www.anwyl.co.uk/millgreen.
