Home buyers have flocked to snap up all 11 homes that were released for Early Bird reservation at Anwyl’s Victoria Mills development in Holmes Chapel.

Thomas Bradley, senior sales manager for Anwyl Homes Cheshire and North Wales, said he’d been hopeful of success after huge interest was shown in the Macclesfield Road homes collection even before its launch.

He said: “We had a full diary of appointments for the opening weekend - an indication of how keen buyers are to own a home at Victoria Mills,” he said. “But to have had Early Bird reservations on every home released was a significant achievement and a further sign of how popular these properties are going to be.”

Early Bird reservations allow customers to pay a £500 deposit to reserve a property. Prior to releasing the plot for sale, Anwyl will offer first refusal to convert an ‘Early Bird Reservation’ to a ‘Full Reservation’ which means that the property is never released for general sale and the home is theirs.

More homes are set to be released soon at the Cheshire development and would-be buyers are being encouraged not to delay in registering an interest.

“Purchasing a home is a big decision for anyone, however, the success of Victoria Mills already shows that homes here are not going to be available for long once they are released for sale,” added Thomas. “Holmes Chapel is a desirable location for buyers and the Cheshire housing market, like many, is extremely buoyant right now.

“If anyone is considering one of our homes, I would encourage them to register their interest at the earliest opportunity, so they don’t miss out on the chance to reserve their preferred property on their preferred plot.”

Show homes will be unveiled in winter for the development which is expected to welcome its first residents in early 2022.

Victoria Mills will eventually feature 138 new homes in a range of styles, including two-bedroom bungalows, and two, three and four-bedroom houses to suit families, first-time buyers and downsizers.

Homes awaiting release range from the two-bedroom semi-detached bungalow, The Hawarden, to the four-bedroom detached home, The Glyn.

Offering sought-after single-storey accommodation, the Hawarden boasts two double bedrooms at the front of the house leading off the main hallway, as well as an airy open plan kitchen and living area with French doors leading out to the private rear garden, and a stunning bathroom.

Meanwhile, growing families will love the undeniable sense of space and style in the detached Glyn. There’s a spacious open-plan kitchen/dining area on the ground floor which will instantly become the heart of the home, while a separate living room will allow time for relaxation time.

Upstairs, there are four double bedrooms - the main with a handy en-suite shower room - and a well-equipped, luxurious family bathroom.

The development, located within walking distance of local shops, schools and the train station, will also include a play area and areas of green open space for residents and the wider community to enjoy.

The new sales centre is open for visitors to view plans and brochures and speak to Anwyl’s friendly homes advisors for more information.
