AS one door closes another is set to open for home buyers in Dyserth, where a second phase of new homes is planned.

Castle Green Homes is celebrating sell-out success in the Denbighshire village, where all 61 homes in the first phase of its popular Cysgod Y Graig development have now been sold.

The HBF five-star rated homebuilder is now building a database of potential purchasers who’ve enquired about a second phase of the Meliden Road development.

Subject to planning, this will see 33 new homes built on 2.4 acres of adjoining land.

Sales and marketing director Caryl Russell said: “The success we’ve achieved to date in Dyserth demonstrates that there’s a distinct need for new homes in the area and that we are able to deliver the properties people want to live in.  Dyserth is a beautiful village with popular independent shops, opportunities to enjoy picturesque walks and good schools nearby. The location, along with the choice of homes and superb specification, is a winning combination that made Cysgod Y Graig a popular choice with buyers.

“The final homes on the first phase will be completed this month and we’ve already taken dozens of enquiries from people keen to know more about our plans to build on neighbouring land. Subject to planning, we’re anticipating launching the second phase later this spring.”

The new phase of Cysgod Y Graig will offer a mix of two, three and four-bedroom private sale homes, similar to those in phase one, combining traditional architecture with modern interiors featuring open plan layouts, well equipped kitchens, spacious bedrooms, plus sleek and stylish bathrooms and en suites.

There will also be seven affordable homes for local needs, representing an over-provision to that required by Denbighshire County Council.
