Lucky winner of £50 to spend in favourite local shop

Local estate agent, Roger Hemming, was thrilled to present the winner of a social media campaign with money to spend in The Little Shop of Seasons last week.

Back in November, Honiton resident, Hollie Broom, commented on a post promoting local high street shops and was randomly selected to win the prize, which she can finally spend now the shops are open.

The ‘Love your High Street’ campaign was hosted by the Experts in Property network of independent estate agents, of which Roger Hemming is a member, in a post which read:

‘Your high street needs you now more than ever! Help us celebrate your favourite wonderful small and medium size indie companies that breathe life and jobs to us all and you could win £50 to spend there.’

‘To enter, comment or tag your favourite local, independent high street business and tell us why they are so great. Don’t forget to also include where they are based so others can find them. It could be a gift shop, greengrocers, garden centre, boutique, cafe or pub… anything goes!’
 

Hollie commented: “The Little Shop of Seasons is definitely one of my favourites with the most gorgeous gifts and THE most delicious cakes ever! Myself and my family absolutely love it there 💓."

Hollie’s was one of nearly 30 comments naming favourite businesses across the region from Callington to Clevedon. Other Honiton businesses - Toast Café and Patisserie, Apothespa, The Honiton Wine Bar and Bruv’s Bar were also included.

The Little Shop of Seasons is definitely a favourite, with its themed homeware, unique gifts, exquisite jewellery and so much more.  The Little Shop of Seasons, was delighted to hear that Hollie’s entry had won, and that she chose their shop.
